How is balancing going to help me build stronger abs?

Building a strong core is not simply about the external abdominal muscles that you see. There are internal core muscles that are just as important as the external ones. These internal muscles play a crucial role in stabilizing your spine so that your external muscles can complete the movements you would like to execute. In a nut shell you are only as strong as your internal core muscles are. Balance training helps to build internal core strength!

What do I have to do to get rid of my muffin top?

The most important thing you can focus on when trying to lose the "muffin top" or lean out is your diet. Proper cardiovascular training as well as resistance training is necessary as well, but to really see the fruits of your labor you need to embrace a way of eating that will provide you with a proper balance of carbs fats and proteins. The best thing you can do is consult a nutritional specialist for help, but there are a few things you can do now to start transitioning to a healthier eating routine. First and foremost instead of removing the things you believe to be bad from your diet, start by adding things you know are good for you to your diet. Secondly make sure you always eat breakfast in the morning. Thirdly drink tons of water and push the soda aside, and lastly eat 5 to 6 small meals a day each containing anywhere from 5 to 15 grams of protein!
